Use of silhouettes
Using silhouettes I believe can communicate the image more effectively being in restricted light against a brighter or darker background. this stylistic approach shows simplicity but is still strong. the use of blank space also compliments well with silhouettes being only 2 contrasting colours
he dark shape and outline of someone or something visible in restricted light against a brighter background.
