WEEK TWO: RESEARCHING STYLISTIC APPROACHES

Very vibrant/bright colours which contrast well and show emphasis on the main image being the focal point. The dull background also draws the readers eye to to colours. The motion lines through the female show good movement which could suggest 'dancing' as it is a music event. The use of balance is shown through the mid alignment  of the main image with the text being right aligned at the bottom. This busy poster has a range of shapes, cirlces, korus, diamonds and lines almost giving it a 'summer' / 'fun' vibe.

This 'horror' based poster shows good alignment through the well balances image with the lines drawing the eyes in to the focal point. The purple/green/black contrast well all complimenting each other. The 'scary' feeling can be shown through the use of font and splashes almost representing frankenstein and blood.

The first thing that stood out to me in this poster was the use of contrast through the black and white theme. emphasis is shown through the red lines which could suggest movement being a dance event. The AUX chord shown at the bottom also suggests what type of poster it is - being a gig. Emphasis on the 'disconnect' being bigger and the blank space on the top left leads the reader to the image then the text
